SAE Launches New 'Spotlight on Design' Video Series

SAE International is a global association which provides life long learning and voluntary consensus standards development for the aerospace, automotive and commercial-vehicle industries.

In a recently launched video series named 'Spotlight on Design', SAE explores and investigates critical engineering topics and issues. Each video in the series is dedicated to an important emerging technology and features exclusive interviews from subject matter experts, case studies and real world reports.

The first instalment in the series, 'Counterfeit Electronic Parts', explores the serious performance, reliability and safety risks posed by counterfeit parts entering the supply chain. This 30 minute video takes a close look inside the untold reality of counterfeit parts and will spotlight:
  •  Background and definitions
  •  Consequences
  •  Accessibility of parts
