Cyclops Electronics to Attend the ESCO Anti-Counterfeiting Seminar

The Electronic Systems Community (ESCO) are again hosting their annual seminar advising how to avoid counterfeit components entering the UK supply chain.

Reports of counterfeit parts in the electronics supply chain quadrupled between 2009 and 2011, with parts infiltrating even the most secure supply chains. So far this year, the Anti Counterfeiting Forum website has received on average 30 new reports of alleged counterfeit components per week.

ESCO's seminar, 'Strategies for Counterfeit Avoidance in the Electronics Supply Chain', will build on previous seminars by providing an update on the work being carried out by various groups to combat the threat of counterfeit components. It will feature talks from some of the UK's leading experts.

The seminar will be held on Thursday 27th February 2014 at the 1VS Conference Centre in London. Cyclops Electronics will be in attendance and we look forward to seeing you there.

If you are unable to make the seminar, check back here after the event to read our blog post detailing the key discussions.
